Guided Adirondack Drift Boat Trips
Looking for a Fly Fishing Guide in the Adirondacks?
There are times when wading just doesn't cut it. Sometimes you really need to be in the right place at the right time in order to present your fly properly to a rising fish and that place just happens to be unreachable on foot. At times like this, fly-fishing from a drift boat is both highly effective and rewarding.
The lakes, rivers and streams in the Adirondacks that we run drift boat trips on hold large Brown Trout, Bass and Northern Pike. Our ability to cover a large amount of water in a short period of time allows us the opportunity to put the fly in front of more fish, tipping the odds in the anglers favor.
For these trips we use our two man capacity raft, the Outcast Striker, and our four man capacity 16.8' Hyde Drift Boat. These boats allow fly anglers to stand up while casting, which will aide in fly presentation. This will result in more fish in the net at the end of the day. There is no feeling like watching a large Brown Trout inhale your dry fly, or watching a Largemouth Bass blowing up on your popper, or watching the massive Northern Pike on the end of your fly line go airborne. On our Adirondack Drift Boat Trips, our goal is to have YOU experience that feeling.
All tackle will be provided EXCEPT waders and we're willing to accommodate most any reasonable request.
