The entire month of May so far has been lights out Brown Trout fishing on Lake Ontario. Limit catches of fish are the norm right now! We are taking fish on a variation of bright and natural colored Michigan Stinger spoons. It is about as good as it gets on Lake Ontario right now out of Oswego, NY. We have been seeing a few King Salmon show up, which is always encouraging. The Atlantic Salmon are still around but not quite in the numbers we had earlier this Spring, but I think that has to do with how fast the Brown Trout are biting!
