Lake Ontario Brown TroutFishing Report - May 2025

Our Tiara 3100 Open is back in it's home at Wright's Landing Marina in Oswego, NY. We have started to run our first charters of the season and they have been great. We are seeing days where quality of fish outshines the quantity and there have been days where we are getting quantity of average size fish. Both situations make for a fun day on the water,

The highlight of the Spring has been the Atlantic Salmon that have appeared along the shorelines in high quantities this Spring. This is a very encouraging sign for the future of Lake Ontario's spring fisheries! They have been hitting like freight trains and most often been seen jumping out of the water on their way to the boat!

In addition to these beautiful Atlantic Salmon, we have been seeing trophy sized Brown Trout in the 8-12 pound category coming over the rails. These are truly world class size Brown Trout that are gorging themselves on the baitfish that are located near the shorelines this time of year!
